Join educational leaders, instructional coaches, administrators, and building principals for a full-day professional learning session focused on one of the most powerful influences on student achievement: teacher clarity. Participants will examine the four critical components of teacher clarity—organization, explanations, examples, and assessments—and discover how these elements tie into adolescent literacy practices to help educators make informed instructional decisions, maintain focus on the bigger picture of learning, and create optimal learning experiences for all students. Leaders will leave with a stronger understanding of the difference between basic literacy, intermediate literacy, and disciplinary literacy to support teachers in creating and extending highly engaging classrooms where every interaction moves learning forward and every student has the access and opportunity to succeed.
