INTENDED AUDIENCE: ADMINISTRATORS

Join Nancy Weinstein, a nationally recognized expert on the science of teaching and learning, for a focused one-hour session designed specifically for school and district leaders. This Lunch & Learn will move beyond theory to examine how research-aligned instructional practices can be translated into coherent, system-wide implementation.

During this session, Nancy will: Clarify the core principles of the science of teaching and learning and what they mean for instructional leadership—not just classroom practice.

Identify high-leverage instructional moves that consistently improve student outcomes across content areas and grade levels

Examine common implementation pitfalls that limit impact, even when schools adopt research-based strategies

Provide actionable guidance for administrators on how to observe, support, and scale effective instruction across classrooms

Connect instructional practices to systems-level coherence, including curriculum alignment, professional learning, and assessment

Administrators will leave with a clearer understanding of what to prioritize, what to monitor, and how to lead instructional improvement efforts that are both research-informed and practically sustainable. This session is ideal for principals, curriculum leaders, and district administrators committed to strengthening Tier 1 instruction and ensuring consistent, high-quality learning experiences for all students.
